If you made your reservation through our national website, you must do so more than 24 hours prior to the rental by visiting https://enterprise.mx and selecting the 'My Reservation' option; otherwise, please request assistance through our Call Center.

If you made your reservation through a third-party intermediary, we recommend canceling it through the same channel
To view or edit your reservation (national or international), please visit https://enterprise.mx more than 24 hours prior to your rental date and select “My Reservation” to follow the instructions.

At the time of opening the contract, you will be required to provide a credit card for a pre-authorization hold starting at $2,000 pesos as a security deposit. The final amount is variable and depends on the type of protection coverage you have selected
The base rate is the rental cost excluding taxes, protection options, and additional services.
All rentals returned to a different city are subject to an additional fee, known as the Drop-Off Fee. The cost depends on the mileage between the location where the vehicle is picked up and the location where it is returned.

According to Enterprise Rent-A-Car's policy, the contract holder must provide their own credit card. It is essential for all additional drivers to present a valid license and official identification.
Yes, it is possible to rent a vehicle by the hour, keeping in mind that Enterprise Rent-A-Car Mexico calculates its daily rates based on a 24-hour rental period.
Yes, it is possible. The only restriction is that the vehicle must be driven within the borders of the Mexican Republic. In the event that you need to cross the northern border into the United States, you must contact the location where you rented the car or call our Call Center within Mexico at 800-737-3722 for instructions on the correct procedure.
If your travel plans include driving to Mexico City (CDMX), and the car is rented from a branch or state outside of Mexico City and the State of Mexico, you will need to keep certain considerations in mind to avoid traffic restrictions. To assist you with this, please contact our reservations department or visit the office where you plan to rent the vehicle, and one of our representatives will gladly advise you on the next steps.
To travel to the US, please contact our Call Center at 800-737-3722 from Mexico or at 855-372-2639 from the US at least 48 hours in advance to report your trip. Please note that the coverage extension has a cost of $200 pesos plus tax per day, and is only applicable for rentals in Tijuana, Monterrey, Hermosillo, Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Saltillo, and Mexicali.
Our rental fleet is not permitted to enter neighboring countries to the south
Mercado Pago, debit cards, and Visa, Mastercard, and American Express credit cards.
A credit card is required at the start of the rental, but you can pay with cash or a debit card at the end of the rental
Rental Requirements
The minimum age to rent a car with Enterprise Rent-A-Car Mexico is 25. If you are between 21 and 24 years old and wish to rent a car with us, you will need to pay a daily fee plus the corresponding tax.
To rent a vehicle with Enterprise Rent-A-Car Mexico, you must present an official ID (INE or Passport), a valid driver's license, and a credit card in the primary renter's name. All documents must be original
It is an essential requirement that the primary contract holder presents a valid driver's license, regardless of their nationality
The accepted official IDs are the INE voter ID and a passport; both must be valid.
In the event that the primary contract holder cannot drive the vehicle, or alternatively wishes to have a second driver on the rental, it is necessary to purchase the 'Additional Driver' service (at a daily charge of $140 pesos plus taxes). The additional driver must also present a valid driver's license.
It is a fundamental requirement that the primary renter presents a valid driver's license, a credit card, and an official identification matching their name in order to secure the rental service.

For rentals in the Mini, Economy, Compact, Intermediate, and Standard categories, protection rates are:
- Basic Coverage: $280.00 MXN
- Total Coverage: $490.00 MXN
- Enterprise Protection Package: $570.00 MXN
For rentals in the Full-Size, Premium, Mini SUV, and Compact SUV categories, protection rates are:
- Basic Coverage: $285.00 MXN
- Total Coverage: $550.00 MXN
- Enterprise Protection Package: $670.00 MXN
For rentals in the Midsize SUV, Standard SUV, Minivan, 9-Passenger Full-Size Van, 11 and 15-Passenger Van, Jeep Wrangler, and Pickup categories (across all vehicle models), protection rates are:
- Basic Coverage: $285.00 MXN
- Total Coverage: $610.00 MXN
- Enterprise Protection Package: $765.00 MXN

Remember that purchasing a roadside assistance service protects you against any unforeseen events that may arise during your trip. Third-Party Liability (TPL) protection is mandatory for all rentals, without exception.
The protection does not cover negligence and is voided by driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. It does not cover partial vehicle theft or interior damage.

Overdue Rental
Enterprise Rent-A-Car Mexico calculates its daily rates based on a 24-hour rental period. If the vehicle is not returned on time, late fees will be incurred.
Claims
You must report any accident to the competent authorities by calling 066. Additionally, the accident must be reported to Enterprise Rent-A-Car within 24 hours of the incident by calling the branch where the vehicle was rented. You will be required to complete an accident report form.

We will provide assistance provided that you have purchased the Enterprise Protection Package, limited to a coverage radius equivalent to the Metropolitan Area of the city where the vehicle was rented. If either of these two conditions is not met, you must change it by your own means
You must request assistance from Enterprise Rent-A-Car to have a duplicate key sent to you. This action will incur an additional cost, which will be assessed based on the distance and the time the incident occurs and assistance is required. If you choose to 'unlock' the vehicle by your own means and it sustains damage and/or alteration to its functional opening and/or ignition mechanisms, this action will be considered negligence, and you will be held responsible for the total cost of repairing such damage to the vehicle.
Immediately report it to Enterprise Rent-A-Car (at the office where you rented the vehicle) and request a duplicate key. Lost keys will incur a cost, which is calculated based on their individual value plus the digital programming that many of them require, depending on the type of vehicle
Yes, provided that you have purchased the Enterprise Total Protection coverage
You must manage fuel replenishment by your own means. In unforeseen and exceptional cases, and only if you have 'Enterprise Total Protection' coverage, roadside assistance may be provided, as long as you are within the metropolitan area of the city where the vehicle was rented. Please note that the cost of the fuel will be at your own expense, priced at a unit cost per liter according to the Enterprise Rent-A-Car rate table (which is higher than regular gas station prices).
When dropping off the vehicle
Please report it immediately to the branch where the vehicle was returned. However, the company accepts NO liability (under any circumstances) for items left inside the vehicles, irrespective of the item's type or value, as outlined in the rental agreement
