The Botanical Garden of Culiacán, founded in 1986 by Ing. Carlos Murillo Depraect who donated his valuable collection of plants for the creation of this beautiful place, is located in an urban area. It is a public space where a culture of respect and rational use of our natural resources has developed.
This place houses an art collection with more than 40 pieces by renowned contemporary artists such as Gabriel Orozco, Eliasson Olafur, Tercerunquinto, Richard Long, Francis Alÿs, Sofía Táboas, Dan Graham, James Turrell and others.
